Wes Jones

Wes Jones, Chair
Wes has volunteered with UCP of Georgia since 2011. He is active in organizing the annual Culbreth Cup Charity Golf Tournament, named after his late grandparents. After years of Board service to UCP of Georgia, Wes was named Chair in 2023. Wes is the co-founder of Honeysuckle Gelato and lives in Atlanta.

Shayla SmithShayla Smith, Chair Elect
Shayla has been a supporter of UCP of Georgia since 2007, and was instrumental in organizing the first Share the Love fashion show in 2012. She joined the board of directors in 2018, and was named Chair Elect in 2023. Shayla is a Team Manager for State Farm Insurance – a company that has loyally supported of UCP of Georgia for many years – and lives in Douglasville.

Bryan JonesBryan Jones, Vice Chair
Bryan has been supporting UCP of Georgia since 2011 when he founded the Culbreth Cup Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the organization. The Culbreth Cup is named for his late grandparents, Floy and Roy, who, in 1965, helped found what is now UCP of Georgia. Bryan was named Vice Chair in 2023. He is an account executive with SingleOps in Atlanta.

Cliff WillifordCliff Williford, Vice Chair
Cliff started volunteering for UCP of Georgia in 2010 when he and his wife, Mary, organized the Norcross Police Department C.H.U.K. Run to benefit UCP of Georgia. He was named Vice Chair in 2023. Cliff and Mary have a son with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He works for Cox Automotive in Atlanta.

Ouida SpencerOuida Spencer, Chair Emeritus
Ouida has volunteered with UCP for more than 40 years, including serving as UCP of Georgia’s long time chairperson. She is an expert in dealing with housing issues faced by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She was the recipient of the 2004 Ethel Hausman Volunteer of the Year Award, an annual award given to a volunteer whose efforts have made an outstanding contribution to United Cerebral Palsy. Ouida is a real estate agent with Realty Associates of Atlanta.

Ray GentryRay E. Gentry, Esq., Past President
Ray has been a UCP of Georgia volunteer for over 25 years, serving in various leadership roles throughout the organization’s transitions and growth. Ray is an attorney and lives in Sautee Nacoochee.

Junior BernadinJunior Bernardin
Joining the UCP of Georgia board in 2023, Junior brings his experience as a STEM influencer and IT expert. He is the recent recipient of the nation’s highest STEM mentoring award, the Presidential Award for Science, Mathematics, and STEM Mentoring. Junior currently serves as the dean of students, IT Director, and House System Expert at The Ron Clark Academy.

Latanya BoatwrightLatanya Boatwright
Latanya is a celebrated business leader, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She specializes in identifying financial risks and opportunities, and currently uses these skills in her role as a Senior Financial Manager with Microsoft. Latanya also owns consulting firm, LSB Industries, LLC. She joined the UCP of Georgia board in 2023, complementing her existing philanthropic work in Metro Atlanta.

Cathy ClarkeCathy Clarke
Cathy is the sister of two brothers with cerebral palsy. Along with her parents, she has played an active role in UCP of Georgia’s development for may years. As a manager with Brooks Brothers, Cathy brings top level customer service skills to her volunteer work. She formally joined the UCP of Georgia board in 2023. Cathy lives in Cumming.

Patsy GentryPatsy Gentry
Patsy has served on the board of directors for UCP of Georgia since 2012. She is an artist, writer and photographer whose work is featured in galleries and museums throughout the southeast United States. Patsy lives in Sautee Nacoochee.

Chris GreeneChristopher R. Greene
Chris and his family have worked as volunteers on organizing special events and other fund raising efforts to benefit UCP of Georgia since 2010. Chris’ son, Carson, has cerebral palsy. Chris is President of Securian Casualty Company in Macon.

Lori HowardLori Howard
Lori has been involved with UCP of Georgia since 1999 as the parent of a son with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has retired from a successful career as a legal assistant, and has continued to serve as a staunch advocate of full inclusion for the disability community at large. Lori formally joined the UCP of Georgia board in 2023.

Steve JacksonSteve Jackson
Steve Jackson is an engineer and contractor. He is the founder and president of Jacon Associates, Inc., a design, building, and contracting company in West Columbia, South Carolina. He is also the President of BuildVision, a firm providing feasibility studies, cost analysis, value engineering, and advisory services. In addition to serving on the UCP of Georgia Board, Steve also volunteers with UCP of South Carolina.

Marlon LittleMarlon Little
Marlon brings a varied background with experience in operations management, diversity & inclusion initiatives, change adoption and strategy implementation to UCP of Georgia. He currently serves as a Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager for Boston Consulting Group. Marlon joined the UCP of Georgia board in 2023.

John McMillanJohn McMillan
John is a technology executive at the helm of transformations and radical problem solving that propels companies to scale and gain competitive advantages in a digital world. He is currently a leader for KPMG’s 5G, Private Networks and IoT (Internet of Things) practice within KPMG’s Digital Lighthouse division. John joined the UCP of Georgia Board in 2023.

Peyton TurnerPeyton Turner
Peyton was born with cerebral palsy and turned the challenge into one of his biggest strengths in playing varsity sports, double majoring in at the University of South Carolina, and building a successful business career. He is the President of Westwood Millworks, LLC, a wood manufacturing company in Macon. Petyton has supported UCP of Georgia’s Culbreth Cup golf tournament, and joined the Board in 2023.

James WylieJames Wylie
James has supported UCP of Georgia for many years, but officially joined the board of directors in 2018. He owns Apple Pie Printing Company, an Atlanta book, sign and design Company. James is a former club DJ and enjoys playing music in his spare time at his home in Buford.
